Here’s a video of Serena Toxicat’s memorial service on Zoom. It was 3 hours worth of rememberances, lots of Serena’s music, art, acting and performances.

We are devastated by the loss of Serena Toxicat, one of the founding members and leaders of the Scry of Lust group. She was found dead in her apartment during a wellness check on July 2, 2020. We won’t know the cause or exact date of her death until they complete a coroner’s report, but no one heard from her after June 22, 2020. We will be posting a lot of links to Serena’s large body of work and content on the internet here at Scry of Lust. The content belongs to Serena’s estate, which to the best of our knowledge benefits Isis Oasis in Geyserville, an animal sanctuary for big cats. Serena loved animals, especially cats of all kinds. If you would like to make a donation honoring her, we would suggest making it to Isis Oasis.

We’ll also be posting links to her memorial service, and writings and videos that honor and memorialize her. We will take on the task of completing our website, which has been under construction for a long time. It may take a long time more to complete it, given the global pandemic and the loss of our beloved Serena. Darcy Marie Hughes has been assisting Sumiko Saulson for quite a while now and will step up to help steer Scry of Lust now that Serena is gone.
